Jackie Chan's Rush Hour 3 emerged as champion over Matt Damon's The Bourne Ultimatum in the US Box office last weekend, however it failed to surpass Rush Hour 2's opening weekend sales.

Rush Hour 3 took in $50.2 million during its opening weekend, while Rush Hour 2 in 2007 had $67.4 million. The Bourne Ultimatum still holds the record for the biggest opening weekend ever for the month of August with $69.3 million.
