The Guinness World Records 2008 is finally out today, September 28, 2007 and over a thousand new records can be found in the book. One of those is Daniel Radcliffe sharing with his Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson the record for having the Highest Average Box-Office Gross per movie.



Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise has also snatched a record from Johnny Depp as the Most Powerful Actor in the world, while Brad Pitt's past and present, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, share the record as Most Powerful Actresses.

Here are some of the new records included in the 2008 edition:

Tallest Living Man - Leonyd Stadnik from Ukraine, who stands 8 feet 5.5 inches
Oldest Mother - a 66-year old woman
Oldest Living Woman and Person - 114 years old, Yone Minagawa, Japan
Most Successful Bond Movie - Casino Royale, with £304,693,332 sales
Most Cannon Rolls in a Car - Seven (7) in Casino Royale
Highest Average Box-Office Gross per Movie - Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, with $279.8M each
Highest Box Office Film Gross in the Opening Weekend - Spider-Man 3 £75.77M
Most Popular TV Show - CSI Miami
Best Selling TV Comedy Series on DVD - Little Britain, 645,457 units sold, revenue of £2,769,985
Highest Concert - Jamiroquai
