John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo will receive the titles Box Office King and Queen for 2008 from SM Cinema on February 18, 2009 at SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia.
They will be awarded with such titles because their first movie together 'A Very Special Love' under Star Cinema was the topgrossing 2008 movie in SM Cinemas nationwide.
Star Cinema will also be recognized as the 2008 SM Cinema Top Grossing Local Film Producer.

Including Ang Tanging Ina's earnings from January 01 to 22, 2009, the movie had 197 million pesos gross sales as against A Very Special Love's 179.6 million pesos earnings from July 30 to September 16, 2008.
